HOW WE STARTED
First formed in 2005, Pathways was designed to further increase the evangelistic fervor among the members of Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon (LNP) Community. A team of LNP’s Senior Leaders spearheaded and developed the approach among the community’s three sectors, which yielded varying results.
Four year since its inception, Pathways has developed into the evangelistic arm of Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon with a mission to advance its evangelization work and bring as many people into a personal relationship with Christ.
Several principles guide all the plans and activities of the LNP Pathways ministry.
– Evangelization is not just a program, but a lifestyle.
– Evangelization is different from recruitment, although it is very much related to it.
– Evangelization means bringing all kinds of people into a relationship with Christ.
Today, the Pathways Ministry is evolving into something more outward looking, with its arms spreading beyond the walls of LNP. It is now envisioned to be LNP’s service to the wider church by sharing with other communities, parishes and organizations, here and abroad, an effective evangelistic approach to help bring people closer to Christ.
The Mandate of Pathways
The mandate of Pathways is simple: to attract all kinds of people to Christ.
Hence, the main thrust of Pathways is to conduct events and activities, like regular prayer meetings that are well-prepared, life-giving and inspiring so as to create a hunger and thirst in the hearts of the attendees to know Jesus Christ in a much deeper and personal way.
VISION
To be like men and women willing to radically share the life of Christ to all people from all walks of life.
MISSION
In response to God’s call for us to evangelize as Pathways Ministry of Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon:
- – We recognize that we are sinners, called by the Lord to do His work.
- – We aim to let others personally experience God’s love and fullness of life.
- – We will be dependent on God’s leading for directions through a life of prayer.
- – We will faithfully use all our God-given gifts and resources for kingdom building
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
Pathways includes different ministries and guilds. It includes a training ministry, a healing ministry, an intercessory ministry, a preacher’s pool, a men’s ministry, a radio ministry and an online ministry.
Pathways conducts several year-round activities year-round designed to help you encounter God wherever you are in your life. These include numerous inspirational series on practical faith living, marriage courses, parenting courses, worship concerts, and other faith-building events including a kids ministry.
OUR FUNDING
The initiatives and programs of Pathways are being sponsored by its mother community, Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon, as well as the prayers and generosity of God’s people through love offerings and donations.
